Supporting our Neighbors in Need
As the pandemic unfolds, hundreds of our neighbors will experience unprecedented hardships. As Alaskans, we will weather this storm by uniting as a community to care for each other. Read our latest updates here.
Give Help: United Way of Anchorage is accepting donations to address the needs of our neighbors most affected by the economic consequences of the coronavirus, such as those without access to sick days, placed on unpaid furlough that threatens housing stability, or those left without quality childcare due to school or facility closure.
Highest needs will be identified using Alaska 2-1-1 call data and input from United Way’s network of partner agencies. Based on current information, highest needs might include responses for food, childcare and housing supports.
100% of the donated funds will be used to support Anchorage-area needs.
