The Trust and Confidence of Our Donors is Paramount.
United Way of Anchorage adheres to the highest level of accountability in all aspects of operations. Each year, a certified public accounting firm completes an in-depth review of our financial operations to ensure compliance with all accounting standards for not-for-profits. The independent auditors report the results of the annual audit and the audited financial statements directly to the Finance Committee of the United Way of Anchorage’s Board of Directors, which then reports the findings to the full Board of Directors.
Altman, Rogers and Company, the certified public accountant firm which conducted the audit for fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, issued an unqualified opinion of United Way of Anchorage’s audited financial statements. The financial statements and ARC’s opinion can be viewed via the first link below.

The story behind the numbers
Each year, we celebrate our progress on our community change efforts with an annual report. For our donors, partners and public alike, this insight into what’s changing in the community is a powerful snapshot of what can be accomplished when we donate, volunteer and champion the cause.
