Recognizing that youth are our future workforce and leaders, many Anchorage businesses are leading efforts to help prepare them with basic skills and training so they’re ready for work. The 90% by 2020 Workforce Readiness Task Force was formed to improve youth employability skills in Anchorage through uniting agencies, businesses and schools to create a community action plan.
Monthly attendance champions
Anchorage businesses recognize that students who build good attendance habits in school grow up to be employees who show up for work regularly. By becoming monthly champions, businesses can help spread the word about the importance of attendance to their employees and customers and set a community standard that it matters to all of us.
Join these local businesses and take the lead in building awareness around good attendance habits!
