Navigator on Site – ADN Spring Job Fair – March 20
If you need health insurance and have questions about ACA, medicaid, or Denali Kidcare, a United Way Health Care Navigator call help. You can meet with one during the ADN Spring Job Fair at the Anchorage Senior Activity center, from 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. You can also schedule an appointment for another time by calling 2-1-1.
Dental Days At UAA – March 26 & 27
Dental Days is an annual event offered to those who are on a limited budget and have no dental insurance. Community dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, along with UAA Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting students, faculty and staff, volunteer their time and skills to provide services to patients at no cost.
Free tax prep and financial fair – April 4
This event combines free in-person tax preparation by IRS certified volunteers — along with computer stations and MyFreeTaxes coaches for those wishing to prepare and file their own taxes on line — with opportunities to learn about financial literacy resources in our community.
